On behalf of the Bluegrass Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, I would like to thank the Bluegrass Cycling Club for their fantastic support and partnership for our first annual “Ride with the Red” charity cycling ride. Our inaugural event had over 200 Riders, and we had riders as far away as Indianapolis IN. We raised over $4,800 and the money raised stays in central Kentucky to help our neighbors prepare for and respond to disasters. We sincerely enjoyed the partnership with the Bluegrass Cycling Club and would definitely like to make this event an integral part of Bike Month, Bike Lexington and Horsey 100 preparation. Dwayne A. Edwards, Bluegrass Area Chapter of the American Red Cross |
